Premium residence Arc 1950, Les Arcs 1950, France
We took a ski trip to Les Arcs 1950 to spend some time skiing and enjoying the snow. This was our first family trip to the slopes. We wanted somewhere that was perfect for all the family and great for enjoying this winter wonderland. Premium residence Arc 1950 Le Village by Pierre & Vacances is right in the heart of the resort and if you’re looking for hotels in Les Arcs 1950 it’s perfect.

Les Arcs 1950 is a small Alpine-style village. Pierre & Vacances have a number of properties here.
We stayed in one of their Premier Accommodations which, in fitting with the rest of the village, had a traditional Alpine feel. With wood cladding, a roaring fire in the downstairs lobby and little touches like antique skis on the wall.
For a new property, they’ve really worked hard to keep the character whilst still being very functional.
The apartments we stayed in were at the top of the village. But like everywhere in Les Arcs 1950 it’s only a few minutes’ walk to everywhere else.
Premium Residence Le Village has various sized accommodations. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment which sleeps six.
It had an open plan living area at its center comprising a lounge (with sofa bed).
There was also a dining area and a small but perfectly functional kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and hob.
There were two double bedrooms (one set up as a twin).
And there were two bathrooms.
We had a great little welcome pack of essentials like washing powder and cleaning cloths. There were also some nice extras like a candle and some lovely apple juice and jam.
We really liked the space which was perfect for a family of five.
There were lots of cupboards for ski gear. And a little terrace out the back where we could sit out and watch the skiers whizzing down behind the apartment.
The hotel also has a laundry room which is really useful if you’re staying for a week or more. Plus there’s a gym and indoor and outdoor pools.
We loved the free wifi.
For skiers, Le Village offers ski in and out.
The hotel is perfectly situated at the top of the village. And it’s easy to ski to and from the door, and only two minutes walk to the nearest ski lift.
The Best Bits of Premium residence Arc 1950 Le Village by Pierre & Vacances, Les Arcs 1950, France:
We loved the feel of Le Village. It had a homely, warm, welcoming feel with open fires in the reception area and fluffy carpets underfoot.
We really liked the views of the mountains from all of the rooms. Perfect for spending time watching the skiers and taking in the scenery.
Premium residence Arc 1950 Le Village by Pierre & Vacances was the perfect retreat after a day out in the snow.
The apartment was also so well located. An easy five minutes walk to the center of Les Arcs 1950 so ideal if you had to run out to pick up supplies (or hot chocolates).
Worth Bearing in Mind:
The showers. I am a stickler for a good shower and found the one at the apartment frustrating. Not quite powerful enough and very difficult to balance the temperature from slightly too cold and very hot.
It’s also worth noting that there are no food options at the apartment building, it is completely self-catering. This worked for us and there’s a fantastic bakery about five minutes walk away and a reasonably priced supermarket.
Definitely, there is plenty of space to relax and not feel on top of one another.
Le Village also has access to some amazing swimming pools. A great indoor/outdoor pool and a full outdoor pool. Which were perfect for chilling out after a day in the snow.
As a family, we loved the space here. We felt it was the perfect place to stay and enjoy some ski and snow time.
